The 2026 Annual Meeting will feature 25 CE for the in-person, and up to 8 CE for the online recorded sessions. The 2026 Annual Meeting's Keynote Speaker will be Dr. John Glisson, with the Lasher-Eckroade History Lecture being headed by Dr. Ruediger Hauck.

John Glisson spent a long career at the Poultry Diagnostic and Research Center, University of Georgia. His research involved vaccine and diagnostic test development. He also worked in instruction, administration, and provided service to the Georgia poultry industry. After retiring from the University of Georgia in 2011 he served as Vice President of Research for the US Poultry & Egg Association until 2019. He received the DVM, MAM, and PhD degrees from the University of Georgia. John is a Life Member of AAAP.

Ruediger Hauck completed his veterinary education at the Freie Universität Berlin and subsequently conducted his doctoral research at the university’s Institute of Poultry Diseases. In 2017, he joined Auburn University as an Assistant Professor in the Departments of Pathobiology and Poultry Science. He was promoted to Associate Professor in 2023. He holds multiple professional qualifications, including Veterinary Specialist certifications in Poultry and in Microbiology from the Veterinary Chamber in Berlin.
